Beau Roos is a Dutch artist who captures the essence of everyday moments, feelings and memories through her paintings. Originally educated as a visual and graphic designer, she rediscovered her passion for drawing and painting again in 2024.

Since childhood, female figures have been central to her artistic expression – a focus that continues to define her work today. Through these figures, she creates a visual language that communicates her thoughts and observations without explicit explanation. Her paintings exist in the space between abstraction and realism, always radiating a sense of tranquility while referencing the beautiful and simple things in life that, in the end, brings us the most joy as human beings. 

In a world filled with constant movement and distraction, Beau's work invites viewers to pause and experience a moment of contemplation. Her minimalist approach and serene compositions offer a visual refuge – a gentle reminder of the beauty that can be found in stillness and presence.

"For me, art is both freedom and connection. I can create a painting, express what I want, and in the end, no one knows exactly what it means except for me. Yet everyone has the possibility and freedom to see and feel something unique to their own experience. I love the concept of being able to have personal expression and universal interpretation at the same time.”
